I am…a mother, sister, wife, lover, friend, daughter, colleague.  I am imperfect, confident, intelligent, strong, outspoken, funny, hardworking, kind, and more than a little crazy.  I am always striving to be a better person, the best that I can be.

Like most working mothers I devote the very best to both my career and my role as a parent.  Am I sometimes stressed out and misbehaved?  Yes. Am I sleep-deprived most of the time?  Yes.  Does my mind run a mile a minute with all the shoulds and coulds?  Yes.  Do I receive love and respect from those whom I love and respect?  Yes.

I am a working mother.  I have love to give, life experience to share, and a lot to learn.

If you know a working mother, give her a high five, a hug, a smile… not because she needs it, but because she deserves it.
