I'm a contract administrator for an environmental engineering firm in Orange County, CA. I'm a mother of three daughters – 13, 6, and almost 3. I'm a spiritual leader and my latest venture is authorship. I'm writing a book due in February of 2012 about healing my stories of abandonment, not being good enough, and lack of self-expression. My mission is to empower women to shine, be on purpose, be self-expressed, and feel complete with who they are. My blog will focus on my journey of raising three children while working and juggling all my responsibilities and healing myself in the process. I'll provide tips and inspiration for women to be in their power and full self-expression.

I used to love writing poetry in my teen years. Most of my poems would be about the perils of the heart – the breakups, the dreams, and the desire for freedom – all those things that are born in the teenager’s heart, and that continue on as we grow ... Read more...
OMG, hurry up! I yelled at my kids as I rushed to try to get ready and out the door to meet the image consultant my book coach had assigned to work with me. Why do I always do this? The girls and I have been up for a while and I should ... Read more...
At 8:45 tonight I kissed and hugged my thirteen-year-old good bye as she walked through the security gate at LAX. My daughter Marla just took a quantum leap for what’s possible in her life. She is moving to Brazil with her dad and grandma for, at l ... Read more...
I have been taking quite a lot of time off this year for various reasons – sick kids, sick myself, vacations, personal stuff, etc. and although, I do have the vacation and sick time available to me, something about taking time off, especially when ... Read more...
Bedtime at my house can, at times, feel like a prison sentence. It’s always the same rushing around – feeding the kids some snack (15 minutes after they had dinner AND dessert), getting them to brush their teeth, reading a bedtime story, and the la ... Read more...
Tonight as I helped my 13-year old with a school presentation she needs to give on Friday, I noticed how small she made herself look to her teacher. As I gave her suggestions on what to write, she immediately shouted, "This is not how 13-year olds talk!" Ok, ... Read more...
