Anne Sanders likes to help others. Why? Because it feels so good. Because it's the right thing to do. Because she can, which helps her see that her life is better than she sometimes thinks it is. Helping is a way of connecting with other people, some whom you will never see and others who will thank you with their words, smiles, and hearts. Through her son's cancer and her husband's deployments, she has asked for help and given it, too. We all need help and we all need to help others. You can also find Anne blogging at blog.annesanders.net or at her website helping-hearts.net.

June is a month of change. Kids are getting out of school and summer begins. The babies of spring are now the perfect age to adopt. Of course I’m talking about cats, that is, since June is national Read more...
At this time last year, I was getting ready to say goodbye. I was trying to think of a gift that might last as a lifetime reminder of a very special year. The farewell celebration I was planning was for Tsubasa, our Japanese exchange student.
