I am the author of "Choosing Single Motherhood: The Thinking Woman's Guide," which has spawned the ChoiceMoms.org website, discussion boards for more than 1,000 women, podcast series, and more than 20 workshops. Choice Moms are women -- generally in their mid-30s and older -- who realize during their careers that they didn't find a lifelong partner to raise a family with.... so they decide to do it on their own. My blog will celebrate, and be honest about, the joys and concerns about that lifestyle. I know hundreds of our stories personally.
