Hello there, A little about me: A perpetual optimist (yes, I am one of those , I even own a pair of rose colored glasses!)  working as a business analyst. I have three girls under 8 and a puppy (also a girl). Yes, that makes 5 females under one roof and ...  my husband, who for the most part manages to retain his sanity midst girly chatter, frills and sparkles that pretty much go non-stop from dawn till dusk!

Parenting, specifically mothering, looks different to different people. It is my hope that this blog will touch and encourage other moms from all walks that no one gets it right all the time and that we have to band together to lift each other up. I'm passionate about freedom and equality for women. I'm even more passionate about giving a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.

The reason for my blog: Most of us feel like we are walking a tightrope trying to maintain the perfect balance between family and career. I hope to grow as a mother, as a working mom and as an individual and I hope it gives all the readers out there a passenger seat view to my life with few laughs, maybe a few tears and a virtual "friendship".

In case you are wondering what is funambulism, well, that's the art of tightrope walking ... it's what you and I do everyday! Talk to you soon!
