As the youngest child of 9, I lost both of my parents in my teens. Driven to travel, I joined the USAF, married and started a family. As happens with military families, I have survived near-poverty, deployment, divorce, second jobs, and second marriages. Faced with challenges of balancing college, work, and kids balanced with optimism, persistence, and opportunity, I have become a very successful single parent and cyber security manager. My blog will focus primarily on past and present travel advice, an outlet for all moms that travel, including military moms. Advice and guidance will be offered for step-parenting and co-parenting, as well as sharing 'creative parenting' philosophies learned from my mother, who was well ahead of her times.
