Confessions of a Work At Home Mom
Twitter: @MonaAshley
I am an accountant, who has been working remotely from home for a wonderful company for the past 7 years. Over the years I've learned that although working from home is a blessing, it has many challenges i.e. knowing when to turn it off, knowing how to say no to those friends who want to go hang out at Starbucks, and learning how to balance work, family, chores and errands without burning yourself out. I have funny stories to share about my husband and kids, multi- tasking, neglecting my appearance, juggling the demands of the office and working in bunny slippers. I also have helpful hints to share with my fellow work at home moms and employers which will help make the telecommuting experience even more productive and successful.
