I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in journalism, international studies, French and dance. I taught dance in Los Angeles and performed in Super Bowl XXXVII as well as the NBA and ABA. While living in France in 2005, I published two books before becoming the stage manager, choreographer as well as Zumba, salsa, hip hop, jazz, ballet, modern and contemporary instructor for two resorts in Mexico, the Turks & Caicos Islands and Florida. There, I learned aerial circus (silks, Lyra and double and triple static trapeze) until she moved to New York City in 2009. I continued my circus and dance training at Trapeze School New York and Dance New Amsterdam while learning pole aerobics. In 2010, I taught dance at Silhouette Dance Studio, and pole aerobics at SHOCKra Studio full time, while writing my third and fourth books. After a brief hiatus to have a baby, I moved back to the West Coast for more dance and circus!
I've been diligently juggling a dancer/circus performer's life with baby since May 2011. There are so many things to consider and try to handle simultaneously; body issues/strength, time management, money, gigs, baby needs, husband needs, my own personal and professional needs, etc.
