He laughs and mocks my obviously girlish ways ("Mom, you can't wear heels to my football games!") but he loves snuggling and drinking hot chocolate as we watch movies.
Okay, so I may get some grief for writing this. But, really. There are days I wish I did not have the job of being responsible for someone else, 24/7. I love my son with all my heart and more, and I really can't imagine my life without him -- ahhh, that is a lie. I ... Read more...

This morning as I walked into the office, my CFO greeted me with a HUGE "Hello, Wow, you look well rested!" I replied, "Thanks" and kept it rolling. I then went upstairs for my usual, well, no ---  I needed extra strength coffee today. My other coworker walked ... Read more...
So, I read a post from one of my facebook friends who seemed to have something to say about her position as a Stay at home mom. She never planned to be a SAHM, however, her government contract ended when she went on Maternity leave and have been home ever sin ... Read more...
Said one of my coworkers this past week. And so, there it was. The white elephant in the room. As I prepared for a meeting with the IT & Finance Department, I opened my Louis V laptop bag (graduation gift) and while pulling out my materials, there, in plain sigh ... Read more...
So, I started the new year off with a new job. And, in this economy, I am very grateful to have found a job that will allow me to grow professionally, challenges me, allows me to be creative, etc. My team is awesome and well, yea, I like my job. However, being out o ... Read more...
Wow, today is the last day in 2011. I can't believe how fast time has flown. I started off the year living in Maryland, working at a non-profit, and I ended the year living in St. Croix, about to start my new job at an IT Consulting Firm. While there were many chall ... Read more...
