Okay, this is more of a "please help me" post as it is my opinion on a topic. My son will be 9 this summer, and after two years of living with my parents, a move that while strategic, has also given me heartburn, we are moving into our own home! With this comes New ... Read more...

Happy New Year all! I am glad that 2012 is over, not because it was bad, but because 2013 promises to be better than 2012. I'm an eternal optimist. I was actually READY to get back to work today, after being off for two weeks. I was well rested and ready to attack t ... Read more...
So, as I checked my Twitter timeline this morning - imagine my SHOCK to see SantaClaus posting that we indeed have 10 MORE SHOPPING SATURDAYS until Christmas! (I used my good ole iphone Calendar to verify this - it's true). Honestly. I'm just getting BACK into the h ... Read more...
Yes, those same eyebrow raises you are giving when reading this headline is the same exact expression I had when I first encoutered Sh*tty Mom. The rest is history. I have to admit - I have a tendency to play myself up to other moms, especially those that have it to ... Read more...
So, unless you are in a profession where you get summers off too, or have round the clock caretakers/nannies/live in babysitters - you probably dread summer vacations as much as I do. The thing about school? You have a place to take your child to, every day of the w ... Read more...
So, today my son received the holy sacrament of Communion. Obviously, he is Catholic. So, sometime long ago I went through the same "rights of passage" baptism, reconciliation, communion, confirmation and marriage. I said sometime long ago, because somewhere in my e ... Read more...
