How did you become involved with the Sterling Wines’ Ultimate Host Contest?
I thought it was a great way to participate in an interactive Facebook forum where people could compete in a fun way. I love that the contest has evolved into this great community of creative and talented people, exchanging hosting ideas and tips. It’s a very exciting competition.
Would you consider yourself a wine connoisseur?
I knew a lot about Italian and French wines, but I wasn’t well-versed in American wines. After partnering with Sterling Wines, I discovered that there is such a nice variety of American wines, especially dessert wines. I had a pinot noir from Sterling that was just delicious!
How do you find your time to relax?
It’s not easy at all. I get fewer and fewer pedicures lately! My personal time is when she goes to bed. I usually have 3-4 hours from when she goes to sleep to the time I go to bed. I will read, watch TV, or friends will come over if I don’t feel like going out.
What’s the best thing about being a working mom?
It’s important for my daughter to see a productive, fulfilled woman who is dynamic and contributing to the community she lives in. I want to show Krishna that she can do anything she sets her mind to.
