As a working mom with two children in sports and a new puppy, I'm always on the go. My usual greeting as I enter the door is Buzz Kill is home. I'm sure many of you working moms can relate to never having enough time in the day. School is open, homework begins and how can I get the kids to do their homework before I come home from work? Their father works at night and he gets to be the good guy bringing them for slushes or taking them to the playground until he goes to work. I come home ranting and raving. Is your homework done, why is this house such a mess, did you take the dog for a walk (yes we just got a puppy appropriately named "Buzz" a month ago). I know I'm crazy getting a puppy and adding to the already crazy schedule. What do you do when your 7 year old saves for 2 years for his dream Golden Retriever and finds one on the web for the amount that he has saved? You cave and buy it that's what you do. Well guess who's taking care of him? You got it. Buzz Kill Mom is:) I am an HR Director working a full time job and dealing with employee issues each day. I hope to come home to enjoy some fun time with the family but it is hard when I'm always rushing. I'm sure you can relate. TGIF!
