I am the working mother of 5 boys while climbing the corporate ladder at the age of 47.  I took 15 years off to raise my kids and was fortunate enough to get an executive position back.  Now I walk the tightrope between impressing the mostly male executives at work with my work ethic and striving to show my kids that THEY are my top priority, even when I can't come to a class party or I'm late to a game due to traffic.
