Remember to Keep Cash in Your Emergency Kit

In an emergency or disaster you may not be able to get cash OR use a credit card. During Superstorm Sandy many ATM's didn't work or ran out of money. To protect cash in your emergency kit, wrap it in foil and stuff it in a screw-top jar. Resist the temptation to use the jar instead of an ATM just for convenience.
