Being a young working mother today is one of the most challenging balancing acts a woman can face. I say "today" because through constant calls with my own working mother (seeking sanity), I have come to theorize that we are much harder on ourselves now than generations past. We judge women who work and those who don't when decades ago both groups empowered each other.
