I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years and am a mother of two teens. As a healthcare professional I have spent my career helping families and working women balance their health and wellness. I understand the challenges of getting healthy meals on the table quickly, of catering to multiple family members' needs and tastes not to mention taking on multiple work responsibilities. With all of these roles it can be difficult for women to take time to put themselves first. My blog–Balancing Thyme–is geared towards helping working women create simple, healthy meals for themselves and their families while also taking care of their own health and wellness. Balancing Thyme allows for a sprinkling of nutrition education , a smattering of healthy meal ideas and recipes and a full cup of health and wellness information for working mothers.
