Hi! I am Lauren a working mom under 30, who is new to this whole blogging world. I am excited to share my stories, advice and anecdotes that other "more experienced" working moms have shared with me. I became a professional at 23 and a mom at 25; two very important but very different jobs. Making two major lifestyle adjustments in your early twenties should make for good blog posts :)
I work in a busy public relations office for a large school district. I have the luxury of time off (spring break, two full weeks at Christmas, ect.) but the pay check of a public servant. I am not complaining at all- by any means. I love my job truly, in every sense of the word. I work with an amazing "power team" of seven accomplished moms (and one lone equally awesome dad) that show me everyday the striking a balance between work and home is possible.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we welcomed our first child, Mallory, in October of 2010. Becoming a mom has been the single most defining moment of my life (but isn't it for every mom :). There was never a question after Mallory was born, that I would be returning to work. We are so fortunate to have family watching our daughter every day (yay for that!). That made this tough transition a little easier.
So thats me in a nutshell, any other 20 somethings out there? Testing…Testing ….1…2 :)

Welcome to the blogging
Welcome to the blogging world! Looking forward to seeing all you'll undoubtedly offer to all of the young professional moms out there! Way to go!
