Ann Curry, who made our Most Powerful Moms On TV list, is set to fill the anchor chair at the Today show when another one of our Most Powerful Moms, Meredith Vieira, steps down in June.

We are on the cusp of May but before April is out, I have one more chance to share why I wish there was a Johnny Carino’s nearby. Yes, I love Italian food. Yes, I’m part Italian, too. Yes, when I make spaghetti, I start adding “ano” and “issimo” to the end of words (such as Italiano and beautissimo) but that isn’t the reason. Anyway, to shorten a long opening, this month is Autism Awareness month and you can help by having dinner at Johnny Carino’s. Let’s be honest.  I like a glass or two of wine with dinner or a toast on a special occasion. I enjoy a cocktail when I am out with friends. I will often say to friends when we have been busy, we should share a bottle of wine and catch up. But I never take a drink because I feel like I need a drink. In fact, a couple glasses and I am sleepy!
