The Truth Behind the Blog

Posted on January 30, 2012

I sobbed uncontrollably at the thought of ending my blog. I debated in my mind if it was worth it. The long hours, the hard work, all the tasks that remain undone.   The guilt of spending too much time on the computer, the fear of saying good-bye to something I truly love, the skepticism about balancing priorities.  I wondered, is it so wrong to want it all?

As the Twitterverse explodes with tweets about Tim Tebow leading the Denver Broncos to an incredible playoff overtime win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, I am stunned (as usual) to see some of the mockery of this young man.  As a mother of two boys under the age of 5, I am fortunate that my husband serves as a wonderful role model for our boys, especially when there are so few positive
