I’ve always found it difficult to find clothes that look both professional yet also stylish.   In my business as a designer, I can dress more casually and creatively, however I’m always looking for stylish work clothes for those times I have to look extra professional.   I found some cute pieces that are sophisticated and on trend, but are still very professional looking.

Have you purchased a copy of Lean In?  Mine is on the way.  The book - and its messages - is already causing a stir.  The backlash?  In a nutshell, so-called normal women (not billionaires) are asking Sandberg not to speak for them.  And, women are still blaming men for holding them back.

I think these women are wrong.  Take a step back.  Think of it differently, please.

I had a good reminder this week as to how easy it is for me to undervalue myself.  Someone gave me a compliment on a task I did and I responded with ‘Thanks; it was nothing’.  As soon as I said it, I thought there I go again!
