It's a Fact!
“Know your priorities, maintain balance and be true to what is most important to you.” —Career advice from Marna Borgstrom, CEO, Yale–New Haven Hospital
What We Love

Before Marna Borgstrom became the CEO of this academic medical center (and president and CEO of Yale–New Haven Health System), she got her start here as an administrative fellow, in 1979. Today, a host of programs exist to identify and propel women like her into the executive pipeline, among them Management Academy, an intensive five-day experience for high-potential employees, through which they can analyze profit-and-loss scenarios and refine their leadership skills. The Yale–New Haven Health System directors’ course, a four-day program offered with the Yale University School of Management, broadens the career horizons of participants under consideration for roles at the senior vice president level and above.
