It's a Fact!

The maternity management program at Northwestern Memorial HealthCare helps employee moms-to-be stay physically fit and mentally healthy during pregnancy.

What We Love

Several generations are succeeding because of the tuition aid provided to employees and their kids by this renowned academic medical center, which reimburses workers up to $5,250 annually toward their education. Mothers attending nearby Northwestern University receive 75% tuition waivers that save them up to $3,000 every year, while a new employee-excellence scholarship rewards two talented workers with an extra $2,000 toward higher learning. All told, the Chicago-based organization doled out $1.4 million in 2008 to help families advance academically. To gain flexibility, nearly half of all employees compress their workweeks. Nurses and imaging professionals can choose their own hours online and are able to adjust them every six weeks. The medical center also offers 40% subsidies and $3,600 in need-based scholarships to kids using its on-site child care at headquarters. A maternity management program helps moms-to-be stay physically and mentally fit.
