Little ones get a great start in life when their mothers work for this accounting firm, thanks to its wide variety of parenting initiatives. Moms-to-be can earn up to $250 through the Beginning Right Maternity Program, which evaluates their health needs, supplies a nurse to counsel them through high-risk pregnancies, and helps them get ready for delivery. When primary caregivers give birth, they may take ten fully paid weeks off; those who adopt earn four fully paid weeks of leave, plus $6,000 in aid. (Secondary caregivers get two fully paid weeks.) If children become sick, or their usual nanny or babysitter is unavailable, their parents can request up to ten days of backup care annually, courtesy of a new program; those who opt to use an area daycare center pay just $15 per child (or $25 per family) per day, but in-home care is equally affordable, at a cost of just $25 per day.
