"My secret weapons are planning and working out, and they go hand in hand. Every morning I run around Minneapolis’s lakes, sorting through what’s coming up. I've sketched out a plan the night before, carving out time for work and family, building in hard stops for things like my daughter’s soccer game—but now I really look at it. Maybe I have 20 things to do but time for 10. While I'm running I figure out what I can delegate, what needs attention, what I can move, when I get to the office, I’m not ramping up—I'm at 100 percent.”
