Delia Biddison has been part of the AOL/advertising.com team for 12 years. Last year she was promoted to VP of publisher services, shortly after she had her second child. Delia received seven nominations for Working Mother of the Year because of her incredible work ethic and for being “an amazing role model for all parents in this company and in any workplace.”

Delia currently lives outside Philadelphia but commutes to Baltimore to avoid uprooting her family. She starts her day early and spends many hours traveling, so that she can be home with her children almost every night. Even after a long day, she remains accessible to her team. The team believes she knows everything there is to know about advertising.com and is on top of what is going on at all times. Delia is considered the first and foremost expert in her group and is always pulled into work groups for new products. Her team knows her as an effective motivator, and she inspires them with her devotion to her job. Delia has been noted for empowering her employees to be strategic and impactful, and she makes sure they are challenged and rewarded.

She goes above and beyond in every facet of her job but still manages to balance her career with being a mother of two children by being 100 percent devoted to them when she is home. Delia is an excellent example of a powerful and passionate employee who exhibits true leadership and work life balance. We are proud to have Delia represent us as AOL’s Working Mother of the Year 2012.
