What We Love

It’s known as the Executive Experience—an intensive program for employees at the director level and above that teaches them to become more capable, masterful and strategic leaders. As one of the core career development staples at this pediatric health care system, it complements leadership training available to directors, vice presidents and physicians and represents the next step up from its one-year development programs for managers. There’s no glass ceiling here: In addition to President and CEO Donna Hyland, the organization has women in its top three executive roles—Chief Administrative Officer Linda Matzigkeit, Chief Financial Officer Ruth Fowler and Chief Operating Officer Carolyn Kenny.
