What We Love

Flexible work schedules have long been popular among the “blue shirts” who provide customer service at this consumer electronics retailer’s many stores. But thanks to a recent change, anyone who puts in at least 32 hours per week at its corporate offices may also be afforded the chance to shift into a job-sharing position, reduce his or her hours or become an “occasional” worker as personal needs demand. Eighty percent of hourly employees adjusted schedules or spent time telecommuting last year.
