Social Worker Olga Lopez is a true professional, offering a high degree of competence and sensitivity in arranging discharge planning and providing support and resources to patients and families at the at Baptist Health South Florida’s Davis Center for Rehabilitation.
Olga provides patients and families personalized attention in such a soothing and caring manner that it puts them at ease during their stay. She supports her colleagues, consistently guiding them with her expertise. Olga also volunteers as the coordinator for the Baptist Hospital Life After Stroke Support Group for patients and families.
The personal struggles Olga has encountered also inspire a level of admiration for all who meet her. Olga is the primary caregiver for her two teenagers as well as her husband, who has a degenerative disease that requires him to use a wheelchair and ventilator.
No matter what personal obstacles Olga is facing, she comes to work every day with a smile, a positive attitude and dedication to doing quality work. Olga motivates her colleagues to be their best and give their hearts to the valuable work they do for patients.
