Formal mentoring initiatives offered by more than a dozen affinity groups and lines of business provide counsel to employees of this massive bank, where women are 36% of the senior management team and 47% of U.S. managers and officials. The Women’s Exchange, a 47-chapter program in the Global Wealth and Investment Management division, has seen its mentoring program grow tenfold to keep up with demand, and there’s a new women’s initiative in the Global Markets and Risk Technology & Operations line of business. Women comprised 32% of employees in executive succession programs, 38% of those receiving executive coaching and 49% of those in leadership and management training in 2011.
