For the last two years, Amy has served as an agent of change at CA Technologies, helping to inspire a global effort to transform the company’s culture toward a vision of making a difference in the lives of customers, partners, employees and communities. She leads and counsels a team of employee volunteers who are driving the culture-transformation program, which builds on a foundation of respect for people. She has won the respect and admiration of employees across the company for being open, honest and transparent about the challenges of changing a company and a culture and for representing the hopes and concerns of employees with the senior management team.

As a leader she believes that giving working mothers the flexibility to balance their personal and professional lives brings out the best in them. As a working mother, she has benefitted from the flexibility she has as a commuting executive, balancing the needs of her husband and two sons at home in North Carolina with the business demands of a global job based in New York City.

Amy’s experience as a mom has taught her that being a helpful and successful corporate lawyer, and the general counsel of a nearly $5 billion software company, is more of an art than a science. She also feels strongly that creating a culture that values and nurtures the skills and experiences of all kinds of people is the surest path to team and individual success.
