While Working Mother 100 Best Companies is by far our oldest list (25 years in 2010!), it’s not our only one. Each year, our research team gathers data from thousands of questions and hundreds of companies to track key work-life and diversity trends impacting working women (and their families) today.
In 2010: our newest project: Best Companies for Hourly Workers, spotlighting the best programs and policies serving non-salaried workers today. Created in partnership with Corporate Voices for Working Families, a Washington, DC-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of working families, this initiative will look at everything from hiring and advancement to flexibility and training. Winners of Best Companies for Hourly Workers to be announced in the May 2010 issue of Working Mother, on workingmother.com and at a new Best Companies for Hourly Workers event to be held May 4th in Washington, D.C. (For more information on Working Mother Media events check out our Conferences & Events channel online.)
And that’s just for starters. We have much in store for 2010 and will keep you posted on all of the projects we’re working on. In the meantime, think your company might be a potential Best Company? Tell your HR folks to check out all our initiatives by clicking on the link at www.workingmother.com/bestcompanies
We’d love to have you!
