Memorial day is the epitome of courage, sacrifice and love from the brave men and women who defended this beloved country to maintain it's freedom and integrity. True warriors and protector till the end.

Contemplating on the meaning of this day, I came to a realization that these warriors resembles the same fervor a mom would do to protect and uphold the right of her child. And will do everything to ensure that this is in place. Moms are the nurturers, the calm Mother Hen that will immediately transform into a tiger when she sense that her young is remotely threatened.

And just like these soldiers that gave their life for this country, Moms would in no doubt, do the same thing when the need arises. True warriors in the home front!

This Memorial Day, I not only commemorate the life of the soldiers who made this country what it is today, but also to the Moms, my Mom, me as a Mom, and all the Moms in the world, for all the sacrifices and great feats they do to make this world a better place for their children, my child, to live in.
