So I am finally writing my first blog for Working Mother.  I’m quite excited because I love to share my stories and now that I am mother, a working mother, boy, do I have stories to tell. So first, I want to introduce myself, I am career mom with twin daughters who are 10 months old. I love being a mother and I love being a responsible adult… ha ha.  It took me awhile to get started and actually sign up to start writing on this blog. I had a lot of mixed feelings, such as, should I share my stories to the world?  Is it intrusive to my infant daughter’s life (coz I know I’ll be talking a lot about them!) and what are my girls going to think when they read my blog?  I finally decided that I think they would love it, because they might be just as crazy as me.  I think that they would love to hear stories from their mother as they grew up.  How I am coping with work, raising them and keeping my marriage and how nutty I can get sometimes. I am hoping they will find this blog amusing and think that yes, it is ok to go crazy because at the end of the day, I go to be sane.  :O) They might at some point ask me to stop, but I will deal with it when that arises.

So why the name ‘LinBits’?  Because I used to live in London and we always say, ‘that bit’, or ‘do this bit’ or ‘I finished this bit’. It is a way to say a lot in a small small word, so I thought it was appropriate as a blog name.  So here is my first ‘Bit’ and I look forward to sharing more with you all!
