Celebrity Moms Who Give Back
Celebrity Moms Who Give Back
Many well known women in Hollywood and television find ways to fit charitable acts into their lives. Here's a shout out to a few who have found ways to give back while working and having young families to care for. Whether it's as a paid spokesperson or through an act of charity born of experience, each one puts their heart on the line–as well as their voices–to raise awareness for a cause.

Sherri Shepherd, TV Host
Actress and Comediene Sherri Shepherd gave birth to a little boy who was only around one-pound. When he was born, this working mom's wedding ring fit over Jeffrey's arm like a bracelet. Today, because of her emotional connection to premature babies and other mothers of preemies, Sherri is the celebrity spokesperson for the March of Dimes and its annual fundraiser, March for Babies. Sherri says, “March for Babies helped fund research that saved my son, Jeffrey, who was born three months too soon.” And she added, “as the mother of a premature child, I know first-hand the toll an early birth can have on a family.” Sherri is currently a co-host of The View.
