Kids in the Kitchen
Encourage Self-sufficiency devote one bottom drawer or shelf to kids’ snacks that they can access whenever they want. Think mini fruit cups, applesauce, pretzels and small bags of “lite” popcorn.

Make one shelf in the refrigerator a kid-only space with items like packets of apple slices, cheese sticks, squeeze yogurt and easy-to-grab fruits like grapes.

Create a table-setting station within kid reach. keep plates, napkins, plastic cups and silverware here so they can help set the table. Opt for easy-to-wipe place mats, which make cleanup easy and can help the table look festive.
