
The last thing you want this winter is a sick child. That’s why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a flu shot for children 6 months of age and older (as well as their adult caregivers). In addition, teach your child to wash her hands often with soap and warm water, avoid touching her eyes and nose, and cough or sneeze into a tissue or her sleeve.
Make sure your child stays home when she’s not feeling well to avoid spreading germs.
