Problem: You need a new look. Should you go with a totally different haircut or get adventurous with color? Then again, the time you went into the salon looking for something drastic, it ended in drama.
Solution: Before you make a hair move you may (really) regret, save the money you’d blow at the hair salon and find a face-flattering style by changing your part, suggests celebrity hair stylist Robert Ramos. If you have a long face, opt for a low-deep side part to add width to the face. If your face is oval shaped, part your hair in the center to give the illusion of thinner cheeks. Have curly hair? Ramos says ditch the straight-comb created part. Instead, loosely weave your fingers through your hair to make an off-centered part and evenly distribute the weight of the curls. Finally, if your locks are limp, switch the side of the part. This adds lift at the root, which makes hair look fuller.
