Here’s a heart warming way to make your child’s Easter basket a little sweeter: For every chocolate Lindt Gold Bunny bought between March 12 and April 12 this year, the chocolate company will donate ten cents to Autism Speaks, a nonprofit advocacy group committed to funding research into the causes preventive measures treatments and cure of this neurobiological disorder. Today one in about 15 children is diagnosed with some form of autism so while you’re stocking up on holiday treats throw in a few Gold Bunnies to help support awareness and research efforts in the hope that we’ll soon hop to a cure.
