Ingredients
3 cups white grape juice
2 25 ounce) envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup superfine sugar
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup cut up mixed fruit such as grapes bananas peaches and whole berries)
Directions
1. Pour 1 cup of the grape juice into a small pot Kids can sprinkle both envelopes of gelatin over juice then let mixture stand 5 minutes Add sugar and whisk over a very low flame until all the sugar dissolves making sure mixture does not boil; remove from heat
2. Let kids stir in remaining grape juice and the lemon juice Have them divide fruit among 4 small glasses juice glasses work well) Help kids pour juice mixture over fruit and fill glasses to 1/4 inch from rim. Chill in the refrigerator until set a few hours or overnight
