rss Every year, NAFE calls for nominations of members for five categories of Women of Excellence Awards, given to women of courage and compassion who have overcome obstacles to achieve success and who give back by helping others. This year we added two Rising Stars to make seven winners total. Meet them all here.
This year’s Woman of Achievement is the first female president and CEO for The New York Times Company, a media organization with 2008 revenues of $2.9B. The company’s chairperson credits Janet with “expanding our core strengths and defending quality journalism.”
