Check window coverings. If your blinds were made before 2001, get them retrofitted to eliminate loops or replace them with cordless blinds.
Watch crib placement.
Place baby’s crib along a windowless wall, away from cords.
Be style smart.
Remove any drawstrings from your child’s clothes.
