Your grade schooler is super-excited about her Hannah Montana lunchbox. To get her as pumped about what’s inside, get creative: Use a tic-tac-toast stamper ($3, perpetualkid.com) to make a game board of bread. Pack raisins, banana slices and other healthy toppings as game pieces that can be stuck on with a dab of peanut butter. Or create a sandwich puzzle by stamping out the center with a cookie cutter and then slicing the rest of the sandwich into shapes she can piece back together. See, playing with food can be healthy.
