This year it falls on April 24

Have your daughters and sons shadow professionals in your office, then do a group project. Last year, the project was to concoct a special lemonade, which they later sold in the conference room to everyone in the office. Bonus: the kids learned how much fun marketingcan be.

Smaller companies can get really creative and go all out: An architectural firm might give the kids a design “problem” to address; a law firm might create a simple case that kids could argue before a panel of “judges”; or a school could allow the children to be teachers or administrators for the day.
