Berry Nice Include three berries as part of everyone's place setting. Instead of saying grace, each of you in turn places the berries in a basket and talks about three things you're thankful for. Leaf Prints Write words of appreciation on paper leaves to create a tree of thanks on a wall or poster. Date each leaf so kids can look back year after year and see what they were grateful for. You Grow! Grow herbs on a sunny ledge. Kids will get a boost caring for the seedlings and can give thanks for the gift of flavorful food! Bottle of Blessings Document your family's good deeds on slips of paper and put them in a decorated jar belonging to the beneficiary of each deed. Have each person read the notes periodically as a reminder of her many blessings. Reader Tip We "adopted" a senior citizen from a nearby home. Many elderly people aren't living near their grandchildren, and to know that others are thinking about  them means a lot.       Diane G. Gardin, East Lansing, MI
